Avtec Homes continues historical support for the Brevard Zoo, pledges $100,000 over five years for new Aquarium Project

VIERA (Sept. 11, 2023) — The Avtec Homes family has been a supporter of the Brevard Zoo since, well, before there was a Brevard Zoo.

As “Brevard Zoo Founders,” they made personal donations. As a company, Avtec Homes stepped up as the title sponsor when the 2020 pandemic threatened the popular “Boo at the Zoo” event. The company has sponsored Brevard Zoo’s signature October event every year since — and has committed to do so through 2025.

In an ongoing show of support, Avtec Homes recently pledged $100,000 over five years for the new Aquarium Project, earning the homebuilder the title of “Transformational Founder.”

At this year’s Boo at the Zoo, special weekend activities begin Oct. 7 and continue through Oct. 29. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., youngsters can participate in fun activities, pose for themed photo ops, listen to music, enjoy the Brevard Zoo animals — and snag some candy at the designated treat stations.

Throughout the month, mom and dad can enter to win one of two VISA gift cards at www.AvtecHomes.com or participate in weekly drawings for additional Brevard Zoo tickets.
